Stop the Storm 
The tree is beautiful. Our weeping cherry and magnolia trees should be blooming soon. Take joy in the beauty and let it seep into your soul.

Last night, well really for 24 hours we have had terrific winds here (for us). They seem to be worse this year, and boy I worried about my tall metal fence, but it’s still standing. I have come up with a hopefully simple and effect plan to help stabilize it as I still need to add another 32 feet to it, and sure don’t want it taking off like a deadly sail!
But the fragile flower petals are all over the ground now where they could stick. Otherwise, they are long gone, but have done their job and now the little thumb-plums can grow (they ARE tiny but yummy!).
I have to check on magnolia trees to see if they grow in this mile-high place. I love their leaves. I saw one in a nursery once, but have never seen one bloom!
