The most important work we can do, individually and globally, is the healing and prevention of traumas so that we don't pass them down to future generations. This blog is a working tool to contribute to this good work.
*Me in California Photographs
+++++++++++++++++++++++++
1951 picture of me with mom, dad and John - mother wrote on back of photo - "I can remember trying to hold John still so his picture could be taken. What a live wire - already had his pocket torn. You look just like my baby pictures. So cute - oh, how fast time flies!" (written on this duplicate and sent to me March, 26, 1976) She sure was slim for having recently had a baby! (I was bottle fed)
, Pasadena, California”]This must be the house we lived in when I was born August 31, 1951. Then we moved to the house they bought in Altadena, and then to the one they bought in Pasadena. They owned both of these last houses when we left for Alaska summer of 19571955 Easter - I was 3 - mother wrote on back of photo - "Looking for eggs at Grandma's house - Grandma made those darling head bands of flowers for you girls herself" -- All dressed up in the Easter outfit - one of those "happy times"June 1957 - I was 5 - Dad was already in Alaska, we were waiting to join him -
Great pictures! What a beautiful family from the outside. You were a precious baby and toddler and your big brother is so cute.
