Again, a big thank you to my oldest daughter for the collection of climbing rose bushes she gave to me last Mother’s Day!  Today, June 16, 2010 two of the plants showed their first blossoms!  Once the summer rains come all plants enter an impressive growth stage, and it will be fantastic to watch these plants REALLY take off!

    • Boy, starting out in the hot sun in the dry season was a challenge for all of them! I suppose in reality one shouldn’t even plant them at all until monsoons – but I am babying them and they are moving along, even the one that’s last to peek out leaves!

      When Cindy is here, after you leave, gonna ask her to help me put up wire on the fence for the roses to climb!!!
