Here’s a link on research about schizophrenia that is showing a connection between genetic changes and the immune system.  I believe there is a lot more to the immune system and its reactions than we expect.  I absolutely believe that adjustments severely abused children have to make in order to stay alive in a malevolent world HAVE to include immune system reactions.  How could it be any other way?
