May 1959 — I hope to locate a better copy of this one — I’ve had this a long time — and always I still feel the beauty of this mountain range and valley, but I want to put myself IN THE FAMILY — always I was on the outside — I still feel sad when I look at this — certainly no recognition that my father wanted me here!

Stop the Storm 
Was dad ‘shell shocked’ when this photo was taken? HIS body language is unmistakable to me. I DID NOT DESERVE to be excluded from my family — and if he bought that psychotic idea of mother’s — that something was terribly WRONG with Linda — well, I’m sorry. That’s not to be excused by ‘shell shock’!
