That’s the American-Mexican border fence behind the adobe chicken coop – the adobe pathways control weeds, divert water, create and define garden spaces and ELIMINATE the Bermuda grass I despise

Front garden doing fine – size of the gardens is determined by the amount of water it takes to keep them alive – jalapenos there are bearing already – purple spires belong to a Russian Sage – great plant here – green on the fence back there is yellow flowering Jasmine

  1. Oh how lovely this garden is! I’ve been waiting and waiting to see the pictures on my work pc – been on leave for a bit and now had the chance. I love the surprises on the path too – real gems of delight. You are ingenious to do all this. I’m thinking of you and your daughter and the new baby.. How exciting.
By the way, I’ve been on my own little side trip along the self love thing. Not sure about how to do that – only now I try to breath in ‘right being’ somehow… and keep walking along the path.

I love your bottles! I have my own collection of things – special rocks, pine cones, sticks – flat getting rather full! Need a little garden too to put it all in.
Take lots of care of yourself!

    • So happy to hear from you, Gingercat – that you are well and growing and thriving!!! The inside of my house is in need of major cleaning, etc – will do that before travel up north to see baby – who is still where he belongs! All going so good up there and NO PREMIE this time – what a blessing!!!!!!

Again, very happy to hear you are doing well! sending much love on your continued blessed journey!!!!!!

    • Thank you! You are more than welcome to visit the garden and its tender if you are ever down here. I expect if rains continue in another 3-4 weeks garden should be at its happy peak!!!!

  2. DELIGHTFUL!!! Love the little treasures all throughout! And of course you wouldn’t leave that drainage gutter bare! Can’t wait to see the baby blankets — and YOU!!! (Since another first-person visit to the Secret Garden is going to have to wait a bit…)

    • I am still thinking always of yours and little feet along the garden pathways!! Will be so wonderful to see you all SOON!! PS – Jack is happy to do all airport transport – how sweet – and fortunate!! xoxoxox
