These weavings are so beautiful,Linda.
Thank you! Very simple in design but very labor intensive to get the effect I like. I think of it like “value added agriculture” where the grower makes something from the food grown and THEN sells to consumers. Here it is the raw fleece transformed. MANY if not MOST spinners spin from commercial roving which is hideously ugly and dead in my mind. Spinning from raw fleece that goes through washings and carding has a life in it still. ANYWAY – would love to make you guys one so let me know colors sometime! I am wanting more dyes in the rust, amber, ochre ranges and am currently stuck using what I currently have!! xoxox
