Today I am just moving some blog links to the front burner on self-organization, dissociation and disorganized-disoriented insecure attachment patterns.  I sure can’t claim that reading any of this information is fun, but it might be helpful in some way to add a few new ideas into the Think Pot!

  1. Hi there new to all this blog stuff, looking for discussions and positive healing on DID, Depression, PTSD anxiety disorder. It is all such a Taboo issue . I do believe that in part it is due to misunderstanding in the medical community, of course we all fear what we don’t know.

Would you know what I have even if you knew me for years?

    • Hi – and glad you found my blog! There is a LOT here! You can Google search “stop the storm blog” with a search word like dissociation, trauma altered development, depression and see what comes up, or use the search bar right on the blog for things and lots of pages will come up for you to browse through.

You are BRAVE – and more importantly, you are ALIVE, no matter what you have been through. That is SUCCESS in my thinking!

I of course don’t know your age, but I am 60 now and the older I get the more open I am to talking and listening to people – and SO MANY people suffered in their childhood – and as adults. I don’t think taboos are what they used to be. We are all getting to know more and more — as we NEED to — as individuals and as societies.

It was only about maybe 6 or 7 years ago that I began serious searching about the consequences of the terrible abuse I lived through. I hope there are more pages/posts that will interest you here – and I sure hope you drop comments along your way! All the very best to you in your healing journey! Linda – Alchemynow

  2. hi there

are you planning to post similar posts?

    • Thank you for stopping by, and for your comment! If you just type what you might be interested in on this blog in the little ‘search box’ something might pop up that interests you. I am presently trying to ‘clear my desk’ over here by getting some of what I’ve been working on into publication – in ebook format at least and hopefully something into print!

If you pop ‘attachment’, for example into the search box, something should come up, and you can just scroll your way through. Again, thanks for visiting! all the best, Linda
